Hi friends, my shop is currently on pause while I attend to some family stuff. -Amie

Echeveria ‘Tippy’

Sold out

$4.75

Sold out

Don’t let this Echeveria fool you as a plain Jane. It produces gorgeous orangish-yellow flowers with red tips that proudly flaunt themselves on tall pink stalks in the winter to spring, hence its name “Painted Lady.” Against the muted green rosettes, it looks like an exotic painting and has won awards for this reason!

Depending on its environment, it will grow up to 4 inches high and spread to about 1-3 feet with lots of additional evergreen rosettes.

Your plant will be similar to the one in the photos.

Size
Shown in 2″ pot

Soil
Use a very well draining soil mix. Store bought cactus and succulent mix often retains too much water. You can add gritty materials like pumice, lava rock, or perlite to loosen it up and improve drainage. Your mix should be at least half gritty ingredients. Use a pot with drain holes so the soil can dry out.

Water
Soak your plants thoroughly, then let them dry out completely before watering again. Frequency will depend on your climate. Check for dryness by sticking your finger into the top of the soil, or looking into the drain holes at the bottom of the pot.

Bare Root Shipping
Most of our plants ship bare root to save on shipping cost. This means the plant will not include a pot or soil. Some plants are shipped in the pot to avoid damage.
