The Echeveria elegans, or “Mexican Snowball,” has a lot going on. Not only does it transform into a dense carpet of Hens and Chicks style groundcover, it also has a wide variety of color potential with sunning hidden behind its light green cloak. Its rose-like appearance is darling, especially as a filler around your containers or larger succulents.
Your plant will be similar to the one in the photos.
Ships in a plastic pot with soil.
Part sun, protect from hot afternoon sun
Let dry between watering, water deeply
Soil – I recommend very well draining soil mix. Store bought cactus and succulent mix often still retains too much water. You can add pumice, lava rock, or perlite to loosen it up and improve drainage. I sell 1/8in pumice here – https://www.etsy.com/listing/983974776/pumice-18
Heat Packs – If your daytime temperatures are dropping below freezing, add a heat pack to your order. https://www.etsy.com/listing/983635192/heat-pack
