About Vivid Root
Hi! I’m Amie, the owner of Vivid Root. This is my small succulent nursery located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California. I’m a life-long plant nerd who got obsessed with growing plants at a very young age. I got hooked on succulents a couple decades ago and started this business so I could collect even more of the rarest and coolest succulents and share them with other plant nerds.
I feel so lucky to live in this amazing landscape, and run this business as my full time thing. Plants make me so happy! I hope to share a bit of that happiness with each customer 💚💚
Shipping Schedule 2023
I ship out plants every other week. I know it’s hard to wait longer for your plants, but since I’m the only person running the show I need to make sure I have time for other stuff like growing more plants! I pack each plant carefully and it does take a lot of time. I hope you understand!
Here are my planned shipping dates for this year, subject to change of course. Order deadline is the day before shipping. For example, to be included in Jan 10 and 11 shipping, orders must be received by the 9th.
